Renholmen recruits for six vacancies
During this year, Renholmen has made the largest business deal in the company´s history and has expanded the market both nationally and internationally. In three years, the staff has gone from 33 employees to 38, and now Renholmen is looking for another six persons to recruit.
Through ups and downs, Renholmen has been around since 1952 but in recent years it has steadily pointed upwards. Since 2015, the company has doubled its turnover from 65 million to 130 million SEK.
- At present we are offering at large projects ranging from 2020 and onwards. For smaller projects we try to find available gaps as soon as possible in the planning process. Customers have also begun to accept that there will be a longer delivery time, says Per Jonsson, who became CEO in May 2018.
Today, 38 employees work at Renholmen and now the company aiming to increase the workforce by 10 percent. The employments include a mechanical designer, quotation engineer, automation engineer, warehouse worker and two service engineers.
- Two services are for filling vacancies after retirement, but the other are new services and positions. Last autumn we employed a seller for spare parts and a communcation manager, which are two brand new services in the company, says Per Jonsson.
Expanding the market
This summer, Renholmen received its biggest order in the comapy´s history
and will deliver a complete dry sorter planing line to Setra in Hasselfors. The first delivery will take place in autumn 2019 and the aim is to approve the line one year later.
- It is a great deal of trust to deliver a line that is truly top of the line, says Marketing Manager Bernt-Ove Andersson.
Renholmen has mainly expanded the market in Sweden, Norway and Finland. For a few years the company also has an office in Finland with a Finnish-speaking project manager in Kristinestad, and recently a Russian-speaking agent in St. Petersburg was signed.
